CDBG Citizen Advisory Committee

The St. Louis County CDBG Citizens’ Advisory Committee reviews applications for CDBG program funds for physical improvement, economic development, housing, and public service activities in St. Louis County. The CDBG Advisory Committee holds a public hearing to provide funding recommendations to the St. Louis County Board. 

Hearings are typically held once a year during the month of January. There are typically three public meetings for applicant presentations and interviews and one public hearing to set the Final Fiscal Year Funding Recommendation to be sent to the County Board of Commissioners.

The CDBG Citizen Advisory Committee is responsible for the following duties.

1.

To review applications for CDBG program funds for physical improvement, economic development, housing, and public service activities in St. Louis County.

 

 

2.

To hold all public hearings to provide funding recommendations to the St. Louis County Board. Hearings are typically held once a year during the month of January.  There are typically three public meetings for applicant presentations and interviews and one public hearing to set the Final Fiscal Year Funding Recommendation to be sent to the County Board of Commissioners.

 

 

3.

To provide funding recommentations to the St. Louis County Board for approval.
