On-site Waste Water Treatment (Septic) Systems
St. Louis County Environmental Services' On-Site Wastewater Division is responsible for the administration and coordination of on-site waste water treatment including enforcement of individual sewage treatment system regulations through permitting and inspection.

Imminent Public Health Threat Grant Program: St. Louis County Environmental Services Department received a $78,582 grant from the Board of Water and Soil Resources Clean Water Legacy Fund which will be used to assist low-income homeowners to repair or replace failing systems that are classified as Imminent Public Health threats.

05/31/2012. St. Louis County Environmental Services Department received a $78,582 grant from the Board of Water and Soil Resources Clean Water Legacy Fund.
The Housing Rehabilitation Board awarded matching funding of $56,000 for a program to assist low-income homeowners to repair or replace failing septic systems that are determined to be classified as Imminent Public Health Threats.
The program will be administered by the AEOA and begin during the summer of 2012.
