Call for Presenters is open!
Workshop proposals are due by MAY 31, 2024. Presenter proposals will be reviewed by the Program Conference Committee, and presenters will be notified of their acceptance by the end of June.
We encourage proposals that qualify for clinical clock hours towards LICSW licensure. Please indicate on your proposal form if your workshop meet any of the criteria below.
- Differential diagnosis and biopsychosocial assessment including normative development and psychopathology across the life span
- Assessment-based clinical treatment planning with measurable goals
- Clinical intervention methods informed by research and current standards of practice
- Evaluation methodologies
- Social work values and ethics including cultural context diversity and social policy
- Culturally specific clinical assessment and intervention
Opening Keynote - Rick Miller
Rick Miller is the founder of THE INTERSECTION CONSTRUCT. This private consulting firm offers various services within education, juvenile justice, justice, child welfare, behavioral and mental health, and recreation sectors.
Rick is also a professor of practice at the School of Community Resources and Development at Arizona State University and the Dean of The MASTER's Institute. This annual event attracts our country's top practitioners and researchers interested in learning and sharing the power of HOPE Science.
Rick founded and created Kids at Hope, an international child and youth development movement and research project that studies family, school, and community cultures to understand the dynamics of success and failure better.
Rick has spent 52 years in the Human Services sector as a practitioner, researcher, professor, public policy expert, and author. Included in Rick’s career is that he served as executive director of the City of Phoenix’s Violence Prevention Initiative and an executive with Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
Closing Keynote - Annie Meehan

Meehan has three adult children and lives in the Orlando, FL, area, with her husband Greg. She enjoys being an active member of her community by volunteering, going on adventures with her family, and taking Leo, her beloved pup, for strolls.
