SSL County 4-H Showcase at the Proctor Fair
The 2024 South St. Louis County 4-H Showcase in Proctor is fast approaching and we look forward to the July 2 Entry Day.
Just a reminder, families are required to register their 4-H showcase exhibits in FairEntry.

4-H Day Camps @ The Depot
Each camp is geared towards youth who have completed grades 3-6.
Cost: FREE thanks to generous donations from sponsors.
Register in 4-H Online by July 10.
Performing Arts Camp
Come learn about different puppet styles and how to create each. You will learn the history of each style of puppet and gain experience in building each style.
There are two session options to choose from:
Monday, July 15 - Thursday, July 18 from 9 am to noon (drop-off 8:45 - 9 am)
Monday, July 22 - Thursday, July 25 from 9 am to noon (drop-off 8:45 - 9 am)
Artist Camp
Ready, set, create! Join us for 4-H Artist Camp at The Depot. We will explore famous artists and their style of artwork, then create our own art inspired by you.
By the end of camp, you will have at least four pieces of artwork to showcase.
There are two session options to choose from:
Monday, July 15 - Thursday, July 18 from 1 - 4 pm
Monday, July 22 - Thursday, July 25 from 1 - 4 pm
Youth are welcome to register for both camps. Please register for each camp individually if you intend to participate in both.

St. Louis County 4-H Showcase at the St. Louis County Fair in Chisholm
The 2024 4-H Showcase at the St. Louis County Fair in Chisholm is fast approaching and we look forward to the July 30 Entry Day.
Fair registration opens on Wednesday, May 15th.
The fair registration closes on Monday, July 15th.

4-H Cloverbud Art Camp @ The Depot
Calling all youth in grades K-2 who enjoy creating art! Join us for 4-H Cloverbud Art Camp at The Depot, August 12 - 14.
We will learn about famous children's book illustrators and create our own masterpieces through painting, coloring, and collage.
Cost: $50 (fee covers supplies and snacks)
Registration opens in
4-H Online on April 17 and closes on July 26.
What can I do in 4-H?
We have something for everyone! 4-H activities are open to people in kindergarten through one year past high school in hundreds of locations across the state. Many 4-H'ers choose to join a club. In clubs, small groups of youth and volunteer leaders meet regularly to work on projects, serve their communities and build leadership skills. Youth may choose to take part in short-term experiences, such as summer camp, a team preparing for a single competition or an animal training day.
Youth can design their own activities or take part in a structured one. Our unique, learn-by-doing model teaches young people essential skills such as problem solving, decision making, coping, communicating and teamwork.
Whether they're building rockets, raising dairy cows or writing musical plays, 4-H gives youth the skills to lead for a lifetime.
