Property owners affected by flooding reminded to submit damage reports

The St. Louis County Assessors Department has started touring flood damaged homes and businesses - including nearly 200 in the Cook area this week - and wants to remind all property owners affected by the June 18 storm to complete the County's flood damage reporting form. People can access the damage reporting online at stlouiscountymn.gov/flood or can call the Assessor's Department at 218-726-2604 and a staff member can assist with completing and submitting the form. The form typically takes just a few minutes to complete, and property owners are encouraged to include descriptive photos showing the damage.
