With the May 15 property tax payment due date coming soon, the St. Louis County Auditor's and Recorder's offices have partnered to offer a new in-person payment option for property owners in the Hibbing area. In-person tax payments can now be made at the Hibbing Courthouse at the Recorder’s Office service window, 1810 12th Avenue East, Room 100, in Hibbing.

The St. Louis County Board on Tuesday voted to authorize a bond sale of up to $45 million to build a new Public Works transportation building to serve the central Range region. The new campus will be centrally located in Balkan Township to serve Hibbing, Chisholm and surrounding communities.
