Highway 2 and Munger Shaw Road intersections to close for construction beginning Aug. 19

Road construction begins Monday, August 19, at the intersection of Highway 2 and Munger Shaw Road in Solway Township. As a result, both roads will be closed at that intersection for approximately six weeks. The county is constructing left-turn lanes on Highway 2 at the intersection with Munger Shaw Road. The project also includes the permanent closure of the connection of County Road 161 (Old Hwy 2) with US 2 just east of Munger Shaw Road.
