Advisory Committees

Additionally, we rely on numerous Advisory Committees, made up of members with professional expertise, to help guide policy and programming decisions.

Additional Committees

The County Board Chair and County Board have the authority to create special committees, or subcommittees of the County Board, to address various priorities or topics. These committees often include a select number of County Commissioners and may include additional elected or appointed county officials.

The Board of Commissioners serves as the governing board for additional matters in the county.
